Dear friends of Angelico Sacred Music,
ASM’s mission is to unite American Catholics in creating a patrimony of sacred musical art that expresses the beautiful faith found in 21st-century America. Each year, we advance that mission through several distinct projects, premieres, and events.
But above all, the most important of these is our Angelicofest Gala on September 19th!
Christianity’s incarnational nature reminds us that the fullness of our faith is never experienced alone, or on the internet. Pope Leo expressed this last week, reiterating that for Catholics, watching Mass online is not an equal, acceptable alternative to physically visiting our local parishes each Sunday.
On this note, similar principles also apply for Catholic apostolates–organs within the life of the Church–like Angelico. Gathering to pray, talk, laugh, and celebrate the ministry’s progress together is irreplaceable, and Angelicofest is the most beautiful annual expression of our non-profit’s distinct community and charism.
If you’re in Arizona, or able to travel to Phoenix on September 19, I dearly hope to see you at the gala. You can still purchase tables and individual tickets with our Early-Bird Discount for one more day! Afterward, seats will increase by $10.
