Here at ASM, our hearts are filled with such great gratitude for the choirs at St. Bernadette and St. Anne in the Diocese of Phoenix for their hard work and wonderful singing to bring an Angelico composition to life in Arizona for the first time.

“It was truly an honor and joy for Saint Anne Schola Immaculata to bring to life Ryan’s composition and pray with it on the Liturgical Day for which is was written,” shared St. Anne’s Director of Sacred Music, Claire Halbur. “Thank you, Angelico Sacred Music!”

St. Bernadette Director of Sacred Music, Brina Ziemann, shared her delight in premiering the piece as well.

"It was a pleasure to get to premiere Receive Their Souls for All Souls Day! It was such a blessing to delve into the rich prayers of our Church in a new and beautiful way, and get to pray for the faithful departed whose names are in the final edition of the piece," Ziemann shared. "Thank you for the opportunity to work with this piece and for your beautiful additions to the Sacred Music of the Church. Our choir looks forward to singing more works from Angelico Sacred Music in the future!"

After a busy season this past month, Angelico’s ministry now enters a new phase as we continue moving forward.

“Between Angelicofest and the RTS premiere, it’s been so beautiful to see people’s hearts moved by what ASM is doing,” shared Ryan Everson, Angelico’s Executive Director. “Being physically present with our choir partners and our ASM Patrons for these special events is my favorite part of what Angelico does!”

“Year 2 is off to a beautiful start. Now we return to the creative process of composing more music, and brainstorming new projects to advance our mission. We already have some exciting prospects lined up, and I’m really looking forward to diving into the composing process again.”

Please pray for Angelico, and know that we look forward to sharing our newest special initiative with you later this month!
